Letter from the Presidents

Dear Parents,

Thank you to all who helped, donated "stuff", played in games, and help make the Basketball Bonanza a success. A special thank you to Diane Woods, Chair, Amy Lombardo and Eileen Hetrick who took not he concessions and for Monica Schoenbaum for stepping to take on the raffle. You were amazing ladies!!! Thank you so very much.

The next MSPA monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 11 (tomorrow), 8:30am in the CEMS Conference Room. We look forward too seeing you all there! As parents of a middle schooler you are automatically a member of the MSPA. When you join our meetings you get to vote on teacher mini-grants, give input on fundraisers and programs, and just generally find out what's going on in the Middle School. Laughs are always had! Bring a cup of coffee and join us.

The Chase / Briggs team really pushed their way to the top this week with $61.95. The 5th grade team of Arbour / Newton falls into second place at $42.20 with Doane / Geikie right behind them in third with $38.30. Kerr / Noreus are in fourth with $35.80 and while they might take over third, we'll see if they have what it takes to take it all the way to the top.

REMEMBER: The CLYNK For Schools Recycling Challenge ends March 20th! PLEASE take any bags that you have to CLYNK by the end of the day on the 20th. Pond Cove is currently in 10th place with Cape Elizabeth Middle School in 17th,

HUGE thank you to Sam Lowe who keeps the lobby and 5th and 6th grade classrooms stocked and to the ladies who fold bags all year long for the classrooms! Amber Wannemacher, Stephanie Leonhirth, Mary Smith, Stephanie Korrup, Kathryn Akerman and Kathleen Sparks! CLYNK would not happen in Cape Elizabeth without all of you.

Thank you for all that you do for CLYNK!

Substitute Teachers Needed

If you are interested in learning more you can check the link below or contact any of our district principals. The Middle School is in particular need for substitute teachers, with only a few on sight staff members on any given day to cover absent teachers, it is imperative that the district build it's base of subs. This is not a volunteer position, you get paid!
