Over the past two weekends, the Maine Music Educators Association held the Southern Maine Middle School Honors Festival, at Westbrook Middle School and the District 1 Sixth Grade Honors Festival at Bonny Eagle Middle School. Students were selected through an audition process last fall. These regional honors festivals bring together some of the best middle school musicians in Southern Maine. In total, forty-seven Cape Elizabeth Middle School band and chorus students were accepted to participate in the two festivals. Congratulations to the following students:
