Cape Elizabeth was thrilled to host a Special Olympic Winter Games for 125 athletes from several area schools on January 29 at Gull Crest Fields. The tremendous athletes competed their hearts out in snowshoeing, XC skiing, and speed skating. Several Cape students, staff, and administrators packed the sidelines to cheer them on.
A very big thanks to Dave Croft, CEMS teacher, for organizing this amazing event and for all the staff and volunteers that helped pull it off.
What a great reminder for all of us to continue to 'celebrate the good'.
