Ms. Kaufman's 6th graders wondered: even if it is just one drop in the ocean, how did that drop get there? So they followed one from its origin all the way to the Spurwink River. And along the way, discovered how that drop, with many of its drop friends, resulted in erosion.

The pandemic has forced us to temporarily close the MakerSpace at CEMS. But that hasn't stopped IDEA Lab students from creating some AMAZING projects! This impressive Zoom-ready phone stand was the brainchild of 6th grader Mirabella Gradie in collaboration with her grandfather.

With the holiday approaching, please take a moment to review the travel guidelines set by the State of Maine:

Vermont and New Hampshire are still on the exempt list.

In an effort to have our schools open next week, we have developed a bus schedule that will hopefully only have to be implemented for the week of December 7-11, 2020. There will have to be double runs in order to provide students with transportation to and from school. The times listed will be arrival times at schools in the morning, and departure times from school in the afternoon. 2nd wave bus students should plan to be at their bus stops 15 minutes after their normal time. We are asking parents who can transport their own students to school next week, to do so in order to help out with this transportation challenge. Please check your email to view the schedule. Thank you.
